Tournament Details:

Come celebrate back to school with the Jr. NBA and Under Armour in a 3-on-3 tournament with your favorite teammates! You will have a chance to learn from the best about skills, teamwork and tips from guest appearances by a NBA player or legend. 

So gather your regular season ballers and show off those 3v3 skills with your favorite coach. Registration is $20 per team, $5 per player. Each team will consist of four players, three players on the court and one substitute.

The tournament will be split up between four age-group divisions, Girls U12, Girls U13/14, Boys U12, Boys U13/14. All participants will have the opportunity to play in three games, experience that NBA combine inspired activities and a fan zone experience. The Jr. NBA will provide uniforms to all participants, so please submit the correct uniform size while registering. 

Basic Rules:

• Games will consists of a 10 minute running clock.
• The first team which scores 21 points or more wins the game if it happens before the end of regular playing time.
• 5-Minute mandatory substitutions.
• The beginning of each possession must begin with two passes before an attempted shot to demonstrate good teamwork.
• If there is a 10 point lead or greater in the last minute of the game, the clock will continue to run. 
• Each team will have two time outs per game. Time outs will last 30 seconds and the clock will stop during time outs.

Schedule 

• Girls / Boys U12 Groups - 8AM-1PM
• Girls / Boys U13/14 Groups - 12:30PM-5:30PM

Tournament Pool Play will be held the morning and afternoon (depending on division) of Saturday September 10, 2016 at The Ultimate Field House in Walnut Creek, CA. Eight teams will continue after the three rounds of Pool Play into the quarterfinals. 

Participants who do not continue passed the pool play rounds will have a chance to participate in the NBA Combine activities & Fan Zone experience. 

Championship Games will be held in the morning and afternoon (depending on division) of Saturday September 10, 2016 at The Ultimate Field House in Walnut Creek, CA. 

Clubs/Organizations/Teams that register to participate in the Jr. NBA tournament will be automatically enrolled as a Jr. NBA Member. Registration is free and comes with additional benefits.

The 3-on-3 Tournament will follow all high school regulated basketball and NBA 3v3 rules, please review the following Jr. NBA 3-on-3 Tournament rules prior to the day of the event.
